What we build

Every book that works as decor.

One bindery covers the styled-shelf range — a single guest book to a wholesale program of coordinated sets. Select a format to see it.

The anatomy

What a decorative book is made of.

Wrap, foil, block and box — the same case-binding line that makes our trade hardcovers, tuned for books that are chosen by color first.

01

Color-story wraps

Cloth, paper and PU matched to fabric swatches, paint chips or Pantone references — sampled physically before the run, because a shelf is judged by eye.

02

Foil-titled spines

Spines designed as one composition: aligned type sizes, matched foil tones, titling that reads as a set whether stacked flat or stood in a row.

03

Blank block economics

Unprinted blocks keep sets light to ship and affordable at wholesale — folded and trimmed square, with the same thickness copy after copy so stacks sit level.

04

Real pages or display-only

Guest books and sketchbooks get sewn, writable blocks that open flat. Display-only volumes are built for the shelf — we make sure you order the right one.

05

Book-box construction

Hinged boxes that look like bound books and open to storage inside — board-matched to the rest of the set, with fitted or ribbon-lift interiors.

06

Jackets & belly bands

Printed jackets, belly bands and tip-on labels dress a plain case for retail — and let one binding carry several looks across a range.

07

Sets of three, sized to stack

Curated sizing steps between volumes so spines stagger cleanly and stacks taper the way stylists arrange them — planned at the dieline, not discovered at the shoot.

08

E-commerce-ready packing

Polybagged sets, barcoded cartons and FBA-style labeling by SKU — ready for a marketplace warehouse or your own, without a repack in between.

The styled-shelf moment

Shelves are styled now.

Home stagers dress a property with them. Stylists build tablescapes around them. And a steady trade of Amazon, Etsy and Wayfair sellers has grown up around coordinated book sets sold by colorway rather than by title. The book has quietly become a furnishing.

We supply that trade at factory level: colorways matched to your swatches, dies and recipes kept on file for reorders, and a fresh palette sampled each season without rebuilding the product from scratch.

Start a colorway

Coordinated colorways

Sets developed against your swatches — cloth, foil and edges chosen together so the arrangement reads as one decision.

Seasonal refreshes

Same construction, new palette — sampled in 3–5 days, so a spring range follows autumn's without retooling.

Wholesale reorder rhythm

Foil dies, cloth references and packing specs stay on file, so a reorder is an email — and matches the last batch on the shelf.

Marketplace-ready cartons

Polybag, barcode and label to the platform's spec — stock that can go straight from the container to fulfilment.

Questions

Before you ask for a price.

Colorways, minimums and the packing questions wholesale buyers ask first.

Printing in China: when it pays off

How to choose book paper

What are the minimums for a custom colorway?

It depends on the wrap. Stock cloth colors and printed paper wraps can run in modest quantities; a custom-dyed cloth or bespoke PU carries a material minimum from the mill, which usually sets the floor. Tell us the palette and the target quantity and we will quote the nearest sensible route — sometimes a stock cloth with custom foil gets you the same shelf effect at a fraction of the commitment.

Can you match a fabric or paint swatch?

Yes — send the physical swatch or a Pantone reference. We pull the closest cloth and paper options, stamp them with your foil, and send the samples for approval before anything runs. Color decisions for decor are made in hand, under room light, and we build the schedule around that step.

What is the difference between display-only and real blank pages?

A display-only volume is built to be looked at: a clean, square block that keeps the set light and the price at wholesale level. A real blank — guest book, sketchbook, album — gets a sewn block of writable paper that opens flat. They look the same on a shelf; they are different products in the bindery, so say which you need and we will spec accordingly.

Can one order mix sizes, and how is it packed?

Yes — most sets are deliberately mixed, with sizing steps between volumes so they stack and stagger properly. We pack the way you sell: sets polybagged together as one unit, or sizes cartoned separately by SKU for your own bundling, each carton barcoded and labeled either way.

Can you put our brand on the spines?

Private-label work is routine. Your name or mark foiled on the spine or back board, a branded tip-on label, or a belly band and polybag insert carrying your packaging — the die is cut once and kept for every reorder.

How long does a seasonal colorway refresh take?

If the construction stays the same, only the materials change: new cloth and foil samples in 3–5 days, then 15–25 days of production after approval, plus freight. Working one season ahead is comfortable; we schedule backwards from your listing or staging date and keep the existing dies in service.
